Funeral services for Willie Mae Roberts, of Brookhaven, will be Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive). Burial will follow at Easthaven Cemetery. Dr. Talmadge Smith will be officiating the services. Pallbearers are Bailey Hunt, Margaret Hunt, Olivia Lunceford, William Lunceford, Glenn Cliburn and Mike Grim. Honorary Pallbearers are Regan Lunceford, Jeff Lunceford, Justin Lunceford, Nathan Roberts, Lucas Roberts and Jane Ellen Roberts.

Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.

Mrs. Roberts, 91, died Oct. 22, 2015 at Golden Living Center (Brook Manor) in Brookhaven. She was born Oct. 5, 1924 in Sealy, Texas to William C. and Hulda Hollien Malitz.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven. Mrs. Roberts ministered alongside her husband for over 50 years. She had been on mission trips to Chile, Alaska, Germany, Austria and other places. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. Roberts Sr.; parents, William C. and Hulda Hollien Malitz; and sister, Frances Peters.

Survivors are her daughter, Ruth Roberts Lunceford and husband, David, of Senatobia; sons, Leonard Roberts and wife, Teresa, of Bostic, North Carolina, and David Roberts of Brookhaven; sister, Catherine Parker of Pasadena, Texas; grandchildren, William Lunceford and wife, Regan, Margaret Lunceford Hunt and husband, Bailey, Olivia Lunceford, Jeff Lunceford, Justin Lunceford and wife, Kylie, Nathan Roberts, Lucas Roberts and Jane Ellen Roberts; great-grandchildren, Bryton Lunceford, Jalyn Lunceford, Sidney Katherine Hunt, Mary Jenkins Hunt and Dylan Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
