Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Wednesday was as follows:

• Dionne Banks, 09-04-80, of 161 Audobon, Vidalia, Louisiana — arrested for embezzlement by Brookhaven Police Department.

• Ronald S. Barksdale, 12-31-74, of 3430 Highway 583, Ruth — arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

• Jasmine R. Johnson, 02-20-93, of 300 Old Wesson Road Apt. #5, Brookhaven — arrested for burglary — all but dwelling by BPD.

• Thomas Manning, 04-10-93, of 702 Hines, Brookhaven — arrested for burglary — all but dwelling and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon by BPD.

• Tammy Ricks, 02-26-59, of 2253 Cade Lane, Brookhaven — arrested for first offense DUI by LCSO.

• Joseph D. Martin, 12-23-78, of 941 Sams Road, Brookhaven — arrested for probation violation by Mississippi Department of Corrections.

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 79 degrees for Thursday and a low of 58. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Friday was 71 degrees. There was 0.0 inches of precipitation.

 

River stages

On Thursday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 10.3, up 0.7 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 18.0, up 0.6 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 11.1, up 0.1 feet in the past 24 hours.

 

Highway Patrol Reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported a one-vehicle accident at 4:17 p.m. on Highway 583 before Enterprise. No injuries were reported.

Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 10 calls Thursday. There were 10 emergency calls, with eight medical, six in the city and two in the county. There were two motor vehicle accidents in the county.
