Fredia Adams Buckhaulter

Funeral services for Fredia Adams Buckhaulter are Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Jericho Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery.  Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, from 12 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Buckhaulter, 62, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on April 18, 1953, to Ernestine White Adams and Robert O.T. Adams Sr.

Mrs. Buckhaulter retired after 29 years from Delphi Automotive, where she was an assembly line worker.  During her retirement, Fredia enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling.  She was married to David Buckhaulter and was the mother of three children.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, John Q. Adams and Willie ‘Deacon’ Adams Sr.; sisters, Augustine Johnson and Mary Davis; and one great-grandchild, Areon Miller.

She was survived by her husband; two daughters, Regina Miller Nunnery (Larry) of Liberty and Sylvia Miller Balentine (Robert) of Brookhaven; son, Brian Miller of Brookhaven; brothers, Robert O.T. Adams (Annie Ruth) of Brookhaven and Tommie Adams (Wilda) of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters, Beatrice Tyner (Curtis) of Brookhaven, Leatrice Banks (Robert) of Winsor, California, Bertha Mae Williams of Omaha, Nebraska and Margaret Brown (James) of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Sharhonda Pendleton, Jalisha May, Jakarius Williams and A’Brandon Miller, all of Brookhaven; one great-grandchild, Ty’Mir Ford; and two god-granddaughters, Ariyean Dixon and J’Kariya Williams.
