Memorial services for Marvin Vardel Perkins will be 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Southway Baptist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.

Mr. Perkins, 66, of Brookhaven, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at St. Dominic Medical Center in Jackson. He was born Oct. 10, 1949, to Ralph Vardel Perkins and Joyce Nee Perkins.

He was a mechanic in the automotive industry and a member of Southway Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth Perkins.

Survivors are his wife, Jenell Perkins; sons, Garrett William Perkins (Mary) of Wisconsin, Christopher Vardel Perkins (Lauren) of Arkansas; step-son, Donald Ray Brown Jr. (Connie) of Mississippi; daughters, Elizabeth MaryAnn Martin (Keith) of Arkansas and Stephanie Lynn Zangari (Steve) of Arkansas; brothers, Lester Perkins of Colorado, Roger Perkins of Colorado and George Perkins of Wisconsin; sister, Barbara Schneider of Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
