Crum signs with Alcorn Lady Braves

Co-Lin Media / Natalie Davis / Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Miss.) catcher Jessica Crum of Dutchtown, Louisiana (seated right) has signed a letter of intent to play at Alcorn State University (Miss.). Crum led the Lady Wolves in batting average (.480), hits (49), RBIs (59), walks (58) and tied for the team lead in doubles (8). She broke the single season home run record hitting 16 in 2015. The previous record was 10 home runs in a season. Crum was named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 and Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) First Team All-State as a freshman. She was named the NJCAA's National Player of the Week following the opening week of the 2015 season when she hit two home runs and had 14 RBIs.
