SUMMIT – The Southwest Bears and Lady Bears basketball teams, along with the Southwest Redline and cheerleaders, will host a pair of “Pink Games” on Feb. 8 when they take on Mississippi Gulf Coast in an MACJC South Division doubleheader.

The teams are hosting the event in order to raise awareness about breast cancer. At the game, breast cancer survivors will be recognized before both games and those who lost their battle with the disease will be remembered. The teams encourage everyone attending the games to wear pink as a show of support.

The women’s game is set for a 5:30 tipoff with the men’s game to follow at 7:15 p.m.
