A Brookhaven man was killed in a two-car accident Friday on West Lincoln Drive, according to officials.

The accident was a “head-on” collision, Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing said.

Dalton Lofton, 52 was transported from the scene to King’s Daughters Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Eric Stewart was injured and transported to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Stewart was driving a Toyota truck and Lofton was driving a Nissan Altima. It was unclear what led to the collision.
