Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McPherson, of Tupelo, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Memory Rose McPherson, of Tupelo, to Daniel Gregory Lofton, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Greg Lofton and Kim Beasley, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Robert G. McGill, the late Rosemary K. McGill, Hazel E. McPherson and the late Weylan B. “Mac” McPherson, all of Tupelo.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne R. Wilson, of Brookhaven, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Lofton, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Tupelo High School, a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University and a 2015 graduate of Hinds Community College where she received a degree in nursing. She is currently employed with the University of Mississippi Medical Center as a registered nurse.

The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University. He is currently employed with Amec Foster Wheeler as a mechanical engineer.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Harrisburg Baptist Church in Tupelo.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
