Funeral services for Jerry King Laird of Brookhaven are Thursday, April 28, 2016, 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service. 

Visitation is Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Laird, 31, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at his residence.

He worked in the oilfield and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father, Gilbert Laird; grandparents, Jerry and Wilma King and Jack and Nellie Laird; and his mentor, D.W. Maxwell.

Survivors are his mother, Kathy Laird; son, Christian Laird; daughters, Olivia Laird, Emma Grace Laird and Isabelle Laird; brothers, Jeffrey Laird and Benjamin Laird; four nieces, Adrianna Laird, Riley Laird, Hannah Lynn Laird and Savanna Rutland; family members, Jerry King Jr., Hunter King, Jane Bricker; and special friends, Lauren McLendon, Lillie Grace McLendon, Abigail Starkey and Ragan Starkey.
