Funeral services for Cora Ella “Ms. Coot” Smith, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Siloam M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial at the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, from 1 to 7 p.m. with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 95, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at her residence. She was born April 29, 1921, to Versie Whitaker and Julia Mae Black Whitaker.
