John Raymond Reardon

Memorial services for John Raymond Reardon, of Brookhaven will be Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with a memorial at noon until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Reardon, 48, died Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was born July 7, 1969, in Tupelo, to Glen and Rayceine Reardon. He attended Brookhaven High School and continued on to receive both a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a masters of business administration from Mississippi State University.

He loved to be outdoors, especially if he was floating down the river in a canoe. He was also a fantastic cook. One of his favorite places to be was in front of the grill. He said that seeing his friends and family smiling and enjoying his food was the greatest compliment he could ever receive. He will be remembered most for his charismatic personality, his tremendous charm, and his contagious smile.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Allen Reardon Sr.

Survivors are his wife, Kim Caviness Reardon; two stepdaughters, Sophia and Olivia Caviness; mother; sister, Rachel Reardon Shaw; brother, G. Allen Reardon Jr.; nieces and nephews, Rebekah Stefanski, Joshua Shaw, Sarah Shaw Wilkes, Timothy Shaw, Trey Reardon and Jack Reardon.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Reardon to the National Park Foundation.
