Case wins Street Stock at Pike Co. Speedway

MAGNOLIA – Scottie Case and Barry Guilbeau took the heatwins for Street Stock. Case started the feature from the pole, ledevery lap and went on to score the win. followed by Jason Holland,Jamie Hamilton and Joey Daix. Silas Martin Jr. rounded out the topfive.
Novice B Main started with a three-wide battle for thelead between Cody Bowen, Joel Brown and Johnny Michel. Michelpopped out of the middle like a hot dog out of a bun and neverlooked back. The only yellow flag flew when Terry Lee flipped threetimes coming off two down the back straightaway. Michel went on toscore his second win in-a-row followed by Heath Willard, WalterPerry, Brown and Bowen.
Novice A Main: John Chambers from the pole jumped rightinto the lead off four, led every lap and scored the win followedby Justin Bowman. Bowman gave chase and closed right in behindChambers but couldn’t make the pass.
Joseph Law worked on Chad Coon lap after lap until hegot third, leaving Coon with fourth and Jeff Glassfifth.
Pure Stock: Randy Brownell took the early lead in thePure Stock Feature. Yellow flew a lap into it when Rusty Cooperspun in two. On the restart, it was Brownell again up front. A spinby Toye Simpson brought out the next yellow. With one lapremaining, Jamie Blades scraped the front wall making a fire worksdisplay.
Brownell went on to score the win. Hardy McMillan had towork hard to get second away from Daniel Boyd of Brookhaven whofinished third. Paul Burges was fourth and Darren Dean fifth. Heatwinners for pure stock were Rustin Cain, Justin Bowman, JohnChambers, Brownell and Boyd.
Super Stock: Seavy Clemons took the heat for SuperStock. Joey Humphreys led every lap of the feature to score hisfirst win of the season. Clemons took second, Jim Stewart third,Ted Peirce fourth and Billy Gordon fifth.
UMP Modified: Roy Schnebelen took the first UMP heat winwhile Will Duncan ran a flawless race and went on to score hisfirst-ever win in the second heat. Schnebelen went on to scoreanother win followed by Leonard and Robbins. Brant Tirello afterbeing placed in the rear in 16th position was a man on a missionand deserves the hard charger award for finishing fourth. LarrySmith took fifth.
Late Models: Neal Temple and Ricky May took the heatwins for Late Models. May got the lead and held it until just pasthalfway when a brake caliber went out, sending him to the pits forthe rest of the race. Temple led the rest of the race followed byElizabeth Smith, Donald Watson, Kerry Vicknair and DavidKnight.
