David Cuevas smashed two home runs and a double to power FarmBureau to an 8-3 win over Union Planter’s Bank in Dixie BoysBaseball League action.

In the other game, Randy’s Sports roared by State Bank 10-5.

Winning pitcher Lee Newell struck out four and walkednone. At the plate, Newell singled twice. Also hitting a pair ofsingles was Alex Davis. John Goldman hit safely.

The bankers got a single apiece from Cody Dunaway andJ.L. Dickey. John Wayne Havard was the loser with 10 strikeouts andtwo walks.

Randy’s 10, State Bank 5

Scott Smith got the win with six strikeouts and sixwalks. Brooks Hall absorbed the loss with one strikeout and fivewalks.

Smith led Randy’s with a double. Singling were LanceWaldrop, Sam Ellett and Chris Falvey.

The bankers were sparked on singles from Will Hodges andJonathan Strong.
