The 9-year-old Dixie Youth AAA district tournament startstonight at Summit’s Windsor Gay Youth Sports Complex. TheBrookhaven Nationals play Pine Hills at 6 and the BrookhavenAmericans play Summit at 7:45 tonight.

In another first round game of the double-eliminationtournament, Franklin County plays McComb at 6. Two games arescheduled Saturday as the losers of the Franklin County-McComb andPine Hills-Brookhaven games play at 6. Winners of those two openinground games play at 8.

Members of the Brookhaven Dixie Youth AAA 9-year-old NationalLeague All-Star team are Jeffrey Evans, Gage Cook, CaseyVanderslice, Nick Helmstetter, Josh Winborne, Josh Wallace, KyBurke, Brice Huckaby, Scott Warnock, Trent Herrington, TaylorHerrington, Preston Hebert and Jacob Morse.
