Bank of Franklin prevails; Peoples Bank nips Summit

MEADVILLE -Bank of Franklin defeated McComb Coca-Cola 8-6 Mondaynight and cliched the Dixie Boys League title. In the nightcap,Peoples Bank beat Summit 11-9.

At the plate, Buckles tripled and singles. Secondbaseman Jake Buckles doubled and singled. Centerfielder ChrisBlackwell singled twice.

Summit was led by first baseman Doug Albert with 2doubles and 2 singles.
