WESSON – The Crystal Springs All-Stars eliminated the BrookhavenNationals 12-3 Wednesday night and face undefeated Wesson tonightat 6 p.m. for the Dixie Youth Baseball AAA North Subdistrict SixTournament championship at Jimmie Hodges Field.

Crystal Springs must beat Wesson twice to win the title. Thesubdistrict champ advances to the district tournament which will beheld at Brookhaven, starting July 14 and hosted by the BrookhavenAmerican League All-Stars.

Wesson recorded a 17-13 win over the Brookhaven Nationals Mondaynight. Posting the win was pitcher Alan Stegall with sevenstrikeouts and five walks.

Matt Smith sparked Wesson with a double and a single. Collectingtwo singles apiece were Brady Knight and Troy Smith. Lonnie Reevesripped a double. Singling were Trent Rutland, Joey Hamilton,Stegall and Ben Head.
