Services for Dan W. Westbrook of Meadville are 2 p.m., Monday,July 10, at Siloam Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, July 9, from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, July 10,from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home.

Mr. Westbrook, 92, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, of heart failureat his residence. He was born in Amite County on May 22, 1908, tothe late Webb and Mertis Gatlin Westbrook.

He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Siloam BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Monroeand Julius Lee Westbrook; and four sisters, Gussie Wroten, ArieMcGehee, Eva May Wroten and Lucretia Turner.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Bilbo Westbrook of Meadville; threedaughters, Janell Thornton of Smithdale, Diane Bowlin of Meadvilleand Jane Jones of McComb; three sons-in-law, Barney Thornton ofSmithdale, Rusty Bowlin of Meadville and Toby Jones of McComb; twobrothers, Owen Westbrook of Baton Rouge, La., and Charlie Westbrookof Baker, La.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and fourgreat-great-grandchildren.
