Judith Joy Pippen

Graveside services for Judith Joy Pippen of Brookhaven will beheld in Orange Park Cemetery in Orange, Fla., at a later date.Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Miss Pippen, 61, died July 10, 2000, of cancer at Silver CrossNursing Home. She was born in Wetumka, Okla., on Aug. 31, 1938, toJames Lawrence Pippen and Dorothy June Shores Pippen.

She was employed in personnel testing for Western Union. She wasa member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Shreveport, La., and inJackson. She was a member of Fannin Methodist Church in Fannin,Miss.

Preceding her in death was her mother.

Survivors are her father, James Lawrence Pippen of Jacksonville,Fla.; her brother, Jim R. Pippen of Brookhaven; and her sisters,Celi Ann Gidcumb of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kathryn June Edmundsonof Houston, Texas.
