S. A. Dock Robinson
Services for S. A. Dock Robinson of Monticello are 2 p.m.,Thursday, Aug. 3, at Friendship M. B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, Aug. 2, from noon until 5 p.m. atWilliams Mortuary and Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Robinson, 92, died July 28, 2000, at Lawrence CountyHospital. He was born in Monticello on Aug. 8, 1907, to S. A.Robinson and Josephine Robinson.
He was retired. He was a member of Friendship M. B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wives, IreneColeman Robinson and Ruth Robinson; his son, Billy Robinson; hisdaughters, Delois Evans, Joyce Robinson, and Essie R. Starks; hisbrother, Elim Robinson; and his sisters, Annie Ree Johnson andNavie Goode.
Survivors are his caregivers, Kenneth Starks and Mattie Bridges,both of Monticello; twelve other grandchildren, many great andgreat-great grandchildren; and his sister, Arnell Mumpfort.
