Services for Merrill Bolster Jr. of Sontag are 6 p.m., Tuesday,Oct. 3, at Tyler Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation is Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Bolster, 63, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, of heart failureat University Medical Center. He was born in Monroe County, Mich.,on Oct. 31, 1936, to the late Merrill A. Bolster Sr. and Faye RitaDruoillard.

He was a retired lubricating engineer at Oddeo Smith andSons.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Bolster of Sontag; sons, GaryD. Bolster of Saugus, Calif.; daughters, Sandy Douglas ofCaseyville, Ill., Kathy Houschild of Kansas City, Kan., Linda Swingof Oklahoma City, Okla., Lisa Bryant of Oklahoma, and JanineBolster of Sontag; brothers, Harold Bolster of St. Louis, Mo., andGerald Bolster of Royal Oak, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; twogreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
