Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. to noon and 12:30p.m. to service time at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crane, 50, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at her residence.She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 5, 1949, to the late RobertH. and Yvonne Allgood Allen.

She was a retired cosmotologist. She was a member of AntiochBaptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Charles R. Crane of Brookhaven; son,Jason Crane of Dunwoody, Ga.; daughters, Stephanie Thornhill andJennifer Reeves; sons-in-law, Chris Thornhill and Nathaniel Reeves;and two grandchildren, Tyler Blake Thornhill and Leah MadisonThornhill, all of Brookhaven.

Robert Earl ‘Bob’ Furlow

Services for Robert Earl “Bob” Furlow of Nashville, Tenn., are11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhavenwith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 29, from 5-9 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home.

Mr. Furlow, 63, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, in Nashville.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, BobbieRaines.

Survivors are his wife, Verna Furlow of Nashville; son, RobertFurlow Jr. of Wesson; daughters, Sherry Bodenheimer of Kenner, La.,and Bridget Abel of Nashville; brothers, Cecil Furlow Jr. ofHazlehurst, John Furlow of Slidell, La., and Pete Whittington ofKenner, La.; sisters, Ida Porter of Star and Margie Holiday of NewOrleans; and six grandchildren.

Virginia Lee Magee Smith

Services for Virginia Lee Magee Smith of Brookhaven were 10 a.m.Saturday, Oct. 28, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRosehill Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, 83, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, of heart failureat King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven onOct. 4, 1917, to the late Authur and Agnes Beal Lee.

She was a secretary for the superintendent of education. She wasa member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Edwin Earl”Big Earl” Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Edwin Michael Smith of Vicksburg andRichard D. Smith of Brookhaven; brother, Authur Lee Magee Jr. ofBaton Rouge, La.; sister, Lucy Ann Waters of Clinton; sixgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Lucille Delaughter Watson

Services for Lucille Delaughter Watson of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Sunday, Oct. 29, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Watson, 85, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 12, 1915, tothe late John Aaron and Nora Estelle Berry Blackwell.

She was a homemaker. She was attended Bethel Temple PentecostalChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two husbands, ErnestDelaughter and Gilford Watson; and a son, Charles Delaughter.

Survivors are her son, William Michael Delaughter of Brookhaven;daughters, Ernestine Conn of Brookhaven, Faye Holmes of Pearl, SueBerry Acy of Brookhaven and Wanda Hewitt of Brookhaven; brothers,Grady Blackwell of Brookhaven, Lynwood Blackwell of Baton Rouge,La., and Felix Blackwell of Prairieville, La.; sisters, IreneJordan of Brookhaven and Christine Walls, Annie Ruth Fryer, BillieGeorge and Frances Adams, all of Baton Rouge, La.; 20grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
