Due to Thanksgiving holiday, city garbage not be pick up onThursday and Friday, said James Arnold, city sanitation departmentsuperintendent.

Trailers will be placed at the following locations: AlexanderJunior High School parking lot; across from the G-Store on SouthFirst Street; Stanley’s Service Station parking lot; Highway 51south by Tillotson’s; Highway 84 east near Cloverdale and at theTrustmark branch on Industrial Park Road. The trailers will bepicked up Saturday morning.

In the county, Thursday’s garbage will be picked up on Fridayand Friday’s garbage will be picked up on Saturday, said DebbieBrent, county solid waste coordinator.
