BOGUE CHITTO -Loyd Star beat Bogue Chitto 37-28 Monday night ina junior high girls basketball game in Calhoun Gymnasium, led byBrittany Henderson’s 12 points.

Shara Johnson added 11 points for the Lady Hornets (3-2). JordanBritt had 10 points. Candace Thibodeaux and LeAnne Sones had 2points.

Bogue Chitto got 6 points from Candace Broxton, Danielle Sasserand Meleah Brown.

Loyd Star will host Wesson Thursday, starting at 4 p.m., with apair of junior high games.

The Hornets (5-0) beat Bogue Chitto 49-28 in the boys game, ledby Josh Townsend’s 9 points. Brooks Case added 8 points. RicardoZeigler and Jeron Collins scored 6 apiece.

Bogue Chitto got 10 points from Robert Bullock.
