MONTICELLO – Andrella Pierre pumped in 14 points to direct theLawrence County Lady Cougars to a 58-36 win over the Prentiss LadyBulldogs Tuesday night. The Lawrence girls are 5-6 on theseason.

In the varsity boys game, Steve Atterberry sacked 18 points andTim Horton 14 as the Lawrence County boys blasted Prentiss88-45.

The Lady Cougars (5-6) got additional supportfrom Stephanie Dexter with 13 points. Collecting seven reboundsapiece were Pierre and Dexter. Marquita Coward had six assists.Dexter also led with five steals.

Lawrence County will host Crystal Springs Friday night.

The Cougars (10-1) got 12 points from Nick Mikell as theroared to a 46-27 halftime lead. Roderick Randolph grabbed 9rebounds and Horton 8.
