Graveside services for Morris J. Priebatsch of Jackson are 1p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. at Wright and FergusonFuneral Home on High Street.

Mr. Priebatsch, 80, died Jan. 7, 2001, at St. Dominic’sHospital. He was a native of Brookhaven. He was a graduate ofMississippi State University and received a master’s degree insocial work from Tulane University.

He was retired from the Mississippi State Welfare Department asdirector of Family Insurance Services. He was a member of the BethIsrael Congregation.

Survivors are his wife, Theresa Priebatsch of Jackson; a nephew,Jerol Lind of Boca Raton, Fla.; and a cousin, Felice Horwitz ofDallas, Texas.

Memorials may be made to Beth Israel Congregation or toMississippi State University Department of Education.

Dorothy B. Smith

Services for Dorothy B. Smith of Summit are 2 p.m., Wednesday,Jan. 10, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel in McComb with burial inWoodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m.until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 73, died Jan. 8, 2001, at SMRMC. She was born inLincoln County on May 18, 1927, to Granberry Smith and MinnieJohnson Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fellowship BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Ralph C. Smith of Summit; herdaughters, Delores Moak and Dee Dee Hinton, both of Summit; herbrothers, Harold Smith and Memphis Smith, both of Summit, andDelroy Smith of Raymond; and five grandchildren and numerous niecesand nephews.

Estelle Moore Sumrall

Services for Estelle Moore Sumrall of Brookhaven were Monday,Jan. 8, at Cash Baptist Church with burial in Cash Cemetery inLena. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon was in charge ofservices.

Mrs. Sumrall, 90, died Jan. 6, 2001, of congestive heart failureat Whispering Pines Hospice Center in Ridgeland. She was born Aug.26, 1910, in Scott County and had lived in Greenville. In 1996 shemoved to Brookhaven.

She was retired as a licensed practical nurse with King’sDaughters Hospital in Greenville. She was a member of EasthavenBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lindsey BennettSumrall; her daughter Lillie Collins; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.Arthur Moore; and five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are her children, Nell Mitchell Doughty of BatonRouge, Dr. Auston B. Sumrall of Tecumseh, Okla., Margarita Carterof Greenville and Clinton, Mavis Alexander of Arab, Ala., DorothyGinn of Brookhaven, Joe Sumrall of McCalla, Ala., Harry Sumrall ofAmory, and Billy Sumrall of Greenville; her sisters, VivianRobinson of Newton, Vera Walters of Forest, and Mrs. Philip Hein ofSt. Louis, Mo.; and 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, onegreat-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Easthaven Church Sanctuary BuildingFund.

Charles Everitt Womack

Services for Charles Everitt Womack of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Womack, 66, died Jan. 8, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Brookhaven on June 2, 1934, to Henry Womackand Laura Green Womack.

He was a retired farmer. He was a member of PentecostalApostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Sally RippyWomack; and his sister, Roberta Ethridge.

Survivors are his sons, Gene Womack and Charles Womack Jr., bothof Brookhaven, Randy Womack of Monticello and Ted Womack ofHazlehurst; his daughters, Linda Granger and Sue Hodges, both ofBrookhaven; his brothers, Mervin Womack of Berwick, La., EugeneWomack of Charleston, S.C., and James Womack of California; and 16grandchildren.
