GREENVILLE -The Franklin County soccer teams took one on thechin, losing to a strong St. Joseph Fighting Irish squad. The LadyBulldogs lost to St. Joe 12-0 in the girls match and the boys bowed5-1.

The Lady Dawgs (7-8) were out of it from thestart as St. Joe took an 8-0 halftime lead. The winners added fourmore goals in the second half.

Leading St. Joe’s Lady Irish was Katie Blanchard with four goalsand one assist.

The Dawgs also seemed out of sync against St.Joe. Junior forward Cliff Herring scored Franklin County’s onlygoal of the night.

Brian James led St. Joe with two goals.

Franklin County hosts North Pike tonight, starting at 5 p.m.
