Jesse Eugene Price

Services for Jesse Eugene Price of McComb are 2 p.m. Monday,Jan. 29, at North McComb Baptist Church with burial in Moak’s CreekCemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 28, from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, Jan.29, from 8 a.m. to noon at Catchings Funeral Home.

Mr. Price, 74, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at his residence. Hewas born in Lincoln County on Nov. 7, 1926, to the late Zeb andDillie Roberts Price.

He was retired from Southwest Mississippi Community College as amusic instructor and choral instructor. He taught there for 27years before retiring in May 1996. He was a member of North McCombBaptist Church where he served as minister of music for 17 yearsbefore his retirement in January 1995 and was a member of TheCrusaders Sunday School Class. He had served as minister of musicin Ponchatoula, La., Laurel, Meridian and Tuscaloosa, Ala., beforereturning to McComb. He also served as minister of music for 8 1/2years at Central Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of Southwest Mississippi Junior College,Mississippi College and the New Orleans Baptist TheologicalSeminary. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, R.B. Priceand Louis Price; and sisters, Doris Faye McCormick, Emma Jean Priceand Elizabeth “Liz” Wilkinson.

Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Thornhill Price ofMcComb; sons, Brian Price of Madison and Spc. Barry Price ofFairbanks, Alaska; daughter, Dr. Brenda Belaga-Price of Pineville,La.; brother, Carlton Price of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, RebeccaBellipanni of McComb; two grandsons; and a host of nieces andnephews.

Lucille Ceazar Robinson

Services for Lucille Ceazer Robinson of Hammond, and formerly ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, at Mount Bethel BaptistChurch with burial in Holly Garden.

The wake is Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robinson, 65, died Jan. 23, 2001, of cardiac arrest atNorth Oaks Hospital. She was born in New Roads, La., on March 16,1935, to Sandy Ceazer and Janie Ceazer.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Jerusalem BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, CorneliusSmith; and her daughter, Pauline Felder.

Survivors are her husband, Robert Lee Robinson; her sons, RalphCeazer of Hammond, La., Herman Smith and Samuel Ceazer, both ofMiami, Fla., and Vernon Smith of Brookhaven; her daughters, MinnieAnn Dantzler of Hammond, and Sally Smith and Shirley Smith, both ofBrookhaven; three brothers, four sisters, 48 grandchildren and ahost of nieces and nephews.

Mae Belle Higgason Sullivan

Services for Mae Belle Higgason Sullivan of Louisville are 4p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at Whitehall United Methodist Church inLouisville with burial in the Whitehall Cemetery.

Mrs. Sullivan, 93, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, of heart failureat Winston Medical Center Nursing Home. She was born in Louisvilleon Jan. 12, 1908.

She was the owner of Sullivan’s Grocery. She was a member ofWhitehall United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John Marvin Sullivan;sons, Paul B. Sullivan and Clyde Louis Sullivan; and daughter,Sally Mack.

Survivors are her sons, Bobby S. Sullivan of Louisville, MarvinDouglas Sullivan of Brookhaven and Jerry Phillip Sullivan ofAtlanta; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
