Memorial services for Billy B. Tilson of Sandy Springs, Ga., andformerly of Brookhaven, were held Jan. 13 at Holy Innocents’Episcopal Church.

Mr. Tilson, 74, died Dec. 28, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital. Hewas born in Dallas, Texas.

He was a watercolor artist and a commercial artist in Atlantafor C and S Bank, and Lockheed. He was a Marine Corps veteran ofWWII, serving in the Asiatic Pacific area. He was also a veteran ofKorea. He was a Boy Scout leader and a volunteer with U. S. PonyClub, U. S. Combined Training Association and at JerusalemHouse.

Preceding him in death was his son, Mark H. Tilson.

Survivors are his wife, Joan R. Tilson; his daughters, Vivian E.Tilson of Augusta, Ga., and Lisa C. Tilson of Summerville, Ga.
