Services for Edward Lee “Tom” Henderson of Sontag are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, March 27, at Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, March 26, from noon until 8 p.m. withfamily hour from 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Henderson, 53, died March 20, 2001, at Lawrence CountyHospital. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 15, 1948, to VersieHenderson Sr. and Mary Lee Henderson.

He was a bricklayer. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant M.B.Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his nephew, CurtisReco Beard.

Survivors are his mother, Mary Lee Henderson of Brookhaven; hiswife, Ethelene Baggett Henderson of Sontag; his son, Edward MarquisHenderson of Sontag; his daughter, Katina Shrell Henderson ofBrookhaven; his brothers, Harold (Karen) Henderson, Charles(Barbara Ann) Henderson, and Versie Henderson Jr., all ofBrookhaven; his sisters, Annie Lee Henderson, Ethel (John) Coleman,Ruthie Beard, Rosie Lee White, and Martha Wilson, all ofBrookhaven; and his grandchildren, KaDarra, KaReco, andTytianna.
