Services for Joshua Dean Thurman of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, March 28, at Central Baptist Church with burial in NewZion Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Thurman, 12, died March 25, 2001, in McComb. He was born inMcComb on Dec. 9, 1988, to Dean Thurman and Stephanie CoxDickerson.

He was a student at Brookhaven Academy. He was a member ofCentral Baptist Church.

Survivors are his father and stepmother, Dean and Tammy Thurmanof Brookhaven; his mother and stepfather, Stephanie and JerryDickerson of Jayess; his brothers, James Trent Thurman and JacobTanner Thurman, both of Brookhaven; and his grandparents, James andBobbie Thurman, Bobby Cox and Paula Cox, all of Monticello.
