The West Lincoln Lady Bears swept the visiting North Pike LadyJaguars Tuesday in fastpitch softball action.

West Lincoln won both games by one run, 18-17 in the opener and4-3 in the finale. North Pike falls to 6-12 with the twonon-division losses.

West Lincoln 18, North Pike 17

The losing pitcher was Haley Boyd with four strikeoutsand nine walks, Boyd also singled three times.

At the plate, Brittany Alexander led the Lady Jags witha home run. Heather Williamson singled three times. Hitting adouble and a single was Erin Boyd. Brandy Hamilton singled twice.Hitting safely were Casey Dickerson and Sonia Greemar.

West Lincoln 4, North Pike 3

In the finale, Alexander took the loss with sevenstrikeouts and five walks.

Williamson paced North Pike with two doubles. Erin Boyd,Hamilton and Kayla McCarthy hit a single apiece.
