Graveside services for Lena W. Thornhill of Ferriday, La., are 3p.m., Tuesday, April 10, at Union Baptist Church in Lincoln County.Comer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thornhill, 85, died April 9, 2001, at Heritage ManorNursing Home in Ferriday. She was born in Wisner, La., on Feb. 14,1916, to William A. and Sarah W. Walker. She was a former residentof Jackson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ridgecrest BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack Thornhill; and herson, Marvin McFall.

Survivors are her son, John McFall of Taft, Calif.; and sevengrandchildren.
