Services for Elizabeth Johnson Hillman of Columbus are 10 a.m.,Friday, April 13, at First Baptist Church in Columbus with burialin Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at Gunter & Peel FuneralHome.
Mrs. Hillman, 79, died April 10, 2001, at her residence. She wasborn in Canton on March 22, 1922, to Henry E. and Zadie MoonJohnson. She was a former resident of Hazlehurst.
She was a retired realtor. She was a member of First BaptistChurch of Hazlehurst and First Baptist Church of Columbus. She wasa member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Women’s Clubof Mississippi, Mississippi Home and Garden Club, and MississippiState University Patrons of Excellence. She was a graduate ofMarinello College.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, JosephC. “Bill” Hillman.
Survivors are her son, Dr. Joe Hillman of Columbus; herdaughters, Carol Hillman Anderson of Dunwoody, Ga., Mary BethHillman of Columbus, and Kaye Hillman Hodges of Starkville; andfive grandchildren.
