Dana King was the winning pitcher in both games. She relievedJennifer Richardson in the fourth inning. King finished with 9strikeouts and 2 walks.

Shortstop Britnee Smith doubled twice for West Lincoln. King had2 singles. Lauren Smith singled as the Lady Bears overcame a 5-1deficit.

Stevie Dunn was the losing pitcher. The Lady Hornets got asingle from Whitney Hedgepeth and Dunn.

King started the game and it lasted 3 innings. She fanned 2batters, walked 2 and did not allow a hit.

At the plate, King collected a double. Lauren and Britnee Smithdoubled. Richardson, Holli Bass and Alicia Kennedy singled.

King finished the season with 6 wins. The Lady Bears, coached byAnita Wilson, finished 7-6-1. Wilson said plans were underway toplay a summer league fastpitch schedule with the BrookhavenRecreation Department.
