Services for Robert Earl Connely Jr. of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Saturday, May 5, at Siloam M. B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. with family hourfrom 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Connely, 41, died April 27, 2001, in Lincoln County. He wasborn in Lincoln County on June 9, 1959, to Robert Manning and RosieLee Connely Moore. He obtained his GED with Job Corps.

He was a brick mason with King Brothers ConstructionCompany.

Preceding him in death were his grandmothers, a grandfather, andhis brother, Bennie Manning.

Survivors are his wife, Jeanette Smith Connely of Brookhaven;his mother, Rosie Lee Moore of Galveston, Texas; his father, RobertManning of Galveston; his grandfather, Theodore Manning of Jayess;his son, Robert Earl Connely III of Brookhaven; his daughter,Miranda Connely of Brookhaven; his sisters, Annie Pearl Connely andAddie Connely, both of Galveston, Crystal Manning of Brookhaven andAnne Manning of Champaign, Ill.; and his brothers, Bengie Connelyof Texas City, Texas, and Roger Connely of Galveston.
