Brookhaven Academy will play Leake Academy for the Class AASlowpitch Softball State Tournament championship this Friday in abest-of-three series at Park Place Baptist Church field in Brandon.Action begins at 2 p.m.

Leake and Brookhaven are both undefeated in thedouble-elimination tournament which was postponed by Saturday’sheavy rainfall at the Sports Complex.

The Lady Cougars, coached by Neal King and Ricky Allen, defeatedMagnolia Heights and Bowling Green last Saturday before thethunderstorm arrived.
