Services for Marjorie Loyce Ashley Blackwell of Wesson are 11a.m., Friday, May 18, at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial inSylvarena Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blackwell, 72, died May 15, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on June 1, 1928, toGeorge Monroe Earls and Audrey Hamilson Earls.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husbands,Frances Lee Ashley and Basal Blackwell.

Survivors are her son, Jerry F. Ashley of Wesson and George R.Ashley of Oklahoma City, Okla.; her brother, Wilmer “Buddy” Earlsof Jacksonville, Fla.; and five grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.
