Services for Thelma B. Edwards of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m.,Friday, May 25, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in NewProspect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Miss Edwards, 92, died May 22, 2001, at Convarest Nursing Home.She was born in Lincoln County on April 10, 1909, to Frank M.Edwards and Mary Etta Edwards.

She retired in 1974 as a professor from the School of Businessat Louisiana College at Pineville, La. She was a member of FirstBaptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Elmer”Stinky” Edwards, Delmer Edwards, and Burnis Edwards; and hersisters, Clara Mae Dayton and Gertrude Edwards.

Survivors are her brother, Milton Edwards of Hattiesburg; andher nieces and nephews, Earl Gay Edwards of Thompson, Dr. Harry E.Dayton of Meridian, Mickey Edwards of San Francisco, Ann Gatlin ofJackson, Frank M. Edwards of Brandon, Trudy McCormick of St.Peters, Mo., Jane Scott of West Point, and Ruth C. Edwards ofPensacola, Fla.
