Services for Dan Calcote of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday, May26, at Rock of Ages M. B. Church in Hattiesburg. Hall & FairleyMortuary of Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Calcote, 76, died May 18, 2001, in Hattiesburg. He was bornin Lincoln County on March 22, 1925, to Dora Hudson Calcote and DanCalcote.

He was retired after many years as an employee of the City ofBrookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, LouisCalcote, Robert Calico and Ernest Calcote; and his sisters, TeresaCalcote and Ada Calcote.

Survivors are his daughters, Lee Ann Sturgis and Jessie LeeCalcote of Hattiesburg; his brothers, Jessie Calcote of Brookhavenand Clyde Calcote of Seattle, Wash.; his sisters, Mattie Richardsonof Seattle, Wash., Gladys Johnson of Kent, Wash., and Lucille Beardof Chicago; his friend, Nellie Johnson; and a host of otherrelatives.
