All-stars named

Seniors Chase Coley of Loyd Star, Nathan Cutrer of Bogue Chittoand Cole Zumbro of Franklin County have been selected to theMississippi Association of Coaches South 1A-2A-3A All-Star BaseballTeam. Selected as an alternate is Johnathon Cutrer of BogueChitto.

Representing North Pike on the team are Michael Clements andBuddy Van Norman.

The North vs. South 1A-2A-3A All-Star game will be played onSaturday, June 9, at 5 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park on the campus ofSouthern Mississippi. The contest is scheduled for 9 innings. TheClass 4A-5A All-Star game follows at 7 p.m.

Coaches for the South All-Stars are Mike Hodges of Bogue Chittoand Mark Fanning of St. Andrew’s.

the players and coaches will report on Monday, June 7, at 9 a.m.to Southern Miss. Practices will be held through Saturday.

Also selected on the All-Star team are Jake Nester, Craig Martinof Lake; Mark David Howard, Buddy Pellegrino of Mercy Cross;Michael Pilgrim, Morton; Chris Stewart, Purvis; Clay Simmons, JimHenegan, Sherwood Collette and Jeff Tomlinson of St. Andrews; JasonGraham of West Marion; Todd Doolittle and Brad McKee of WestLauderdale.

Jared Harris of Poplarville was chosen as an alternate.
