Graveside services for Jimmie Smith Fortenberry, formerly ofBrookhaven, are 2 p.m., Saturday, June 2, at EasthavenCemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at HarrigillFuneral Home.

Mrs. Fortenberry, 92, died May 30, 2001, at Laurelwood LivingCenter in Laurel. She was born in Lawrence County on Aug. 3, 1908,to Archie P. Smith and Nolie Williams Smith.

She was a retired sales clerk for J.C. Penney. She was a memberof First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, ArchieW. Fortenberry.

Survivors are her son, Archie W. Fortenberry of the Middle East;her daughters, Elaine F. Perrill of Dallas, Texas, Linda F. Trestof Laurel, and Virginia F. Smith of Mobile; and eight grandchildrenand nine great-grandchildren.
