Services for Hugh S. Washington Sr. of Summit are 5 p.m.,Sunday, June 24, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in McComb.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Washington, 86, died June 19, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Summit on March 11, 1915, to Sidney Washington and JuliaWilcher Washington.

He was retired. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, JeanetteRoss Washington.

Survivors are his son, Hugh Washington Jr. of Summit; hisdaughters, Stephanie Washington Fleming of Dallas, Texas, JaniceHooker of Bogalusa, La., Angela Washington of Santa Cruz, Calif.,and Toni Sells of Nashville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren.
