Services for David W. Touchstone of Gloster were 11 a.m.Saturday, June 23, at Clay Hill Church of God with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Mr. Touchstone, 63, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at FranklinCounty Hospital. He was born in Franklin County on July 20, 1937,to the late Jessie and Dollie Mae Lee Touchstone.

He was a retired from offshore work and a self-employed paintinspector. He was a member of Clay Hill Church of God. He was aveteran of the U.S. Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers.

Survivors are his wife, Marie Touchstone of Gloster; daughtersand sons-in-law, Antoinette and Gene Nunnery of Ethel, La., andSkylar and Jonathan Nickens of Gonzalas, La.; and brothers, theRev. J.L. Touchstone of McCall Creek, Johnnie Lee Touchstone ofBrookhaven and Rayford Earl Touchstone of McCall Creek.
