Services for Elmer “Toke” Case of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, July 10, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Case, 75, died July 7, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County, on Feb. 10, 1926, to PearlieCase and Carrie Chandler Case.
He was a painter for Pure Oil Company. He was a member ofMacedonia Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Iva PearlCase Smith; and her brother, Elkin Case.
Survivors are his brother, Emerson Case of Brookhaven; hishalf-brother, Delton Case of Hendersonville, Tenn.; his sister,Virgie Arnold of Denham Springs, La.; his stepsisters, Donis R.Tullos and Bernice Walker, both of Jackson; a host of nieces andnephews and other relatives; and special friends, Elvin and NitaFaye Smith of Brookhaven.
