Services for H. B. Martin of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Wednesday,July 18, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. ZionChurch of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Martin, 71, died July 16, 2001, at Central MississippiMedical Center. He was born in Oxford, Ala., on April 10, 1930, toHenry Jack Martin and Autry Mae Moore Martin.

He was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of FirstApostolic United Pentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Vera Martin;three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors are his sons, Bruce Martin and Gary Martin, both ofBrookhaven, Richard Martin and Teddy Martin, both of Bogue Chitto,and Johnny Martin of Carrollton, Ga.; his daughters, Debbie Adamsand Sherry Adams, both of Bogue Chitto; his sister, Laura Petus ofOxford, Ala.; and 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, eightstepgrandchildren, and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
