Services for Berry Fortenberry of Kosciusko are 2 p.m., Friday,July 27, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss withburial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Simpson County.

Visitation is Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Fortenberry, 77, died July 24, 2001, at Monfort-JonesNursing Home in Kosciusko. He was a native of Magee.

He was a carpenter and farmer. He was a member of Mt. ZionBaptist Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII, an ex-POW, and amember of the VFW.

Survivors are his sons, W. B. Fortenberry of Anderson, Mo., JoeFortenberry of Brookhaven, and Bob Fortenberry and Paul LeeFortenberry, both of Magee; his stepson, Charles Harrison ofPurvis; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
