Services for Carolyn J. Quin of McComb are 10 a.m. Monday, Aug.13, at New Life Apostolic Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 12, from 3 p.m. until service time atNew Life Apostolic Church on Highway 51 north of Summit.

Mrs. Quin, 59, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at MississippiBaptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in Lincoln Countyon May 26, 1942, to the late James Martin Sr. and Ethel MohonKing.

She was a retired child care worker for the MississippiChildren’s Home in Jackson, where she worked for more than 12years. She was a member of Pentecostal faith and attended New LifeApostolic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Kenneth R.King; and two sisters, Francis Miller and Helen LouiseSlemaker.

Survivors are her husband, Phillip C. Quin of McComb; sons,Richard Van Norman of Mississippi, Craig Allen Stewart of Jacksonand Tony Cardile of Memphis; daughter, Michelle Cardile of Brandon;stepson, Randy Quin of Brandon; stepdaughter, Robyn Quin ofVancleave; brother, James M. King Jr. of Bogue Chitto; sisters,Joyce K. Martin of Felders Campground Community and Marilyn K.Thornhill of McComb; and eight grandchildren.

Catchings Funeral Home of McComb is in charge ofarrangements.
