Services for Eleanor Lee Waller of Meadville are 11 a.m. Monday,Aug. 13, at Siloam Baptist Church in Franklin County with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 12, from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, Aug.13, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Franklin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waller, 87, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, after a lengthyfight against cancer at Meadville Nursing Home. She was born inFranklin County on Nov. 11, 1913, to the late Erastus J. andEleanor Jane Binion Fleming.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church,where she served as senior Sunday School teacher.

Preceding her in death were her two husbands, Ed Steele andEmmitt Waller; 12 brothers and sisters; and two granddaughters.

Survivors are her son, Arthur Steele of Meadville; daughters,Janette Alexander of Jayess, Edd Rea Nobles of Laurel, JoycePartridge of Vicksburg, Mary Ann Bowlin of Richmond, Va., andGinger Davis of Summerville, S.C.; sister-in-law, Letha Fleming ofSmithdale; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; twogreat-great-granchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
