Graveside services for Nancy Edna Johnson of Brookhaven are 10a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mrs. Johnson, 82, died Aug. 9, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Columbia on May 27, 1919, to Robert HardyWhite and Lela Baxter White.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, William HiltonJohnson; her sister, Carray Ash; and her brothers, Robert andThomas White.

Survivors are her husband, Hilton William Johnson of Brookhaven;her son, Samuel Edward Johnson of Arroyo Grande, Calif.; herdaughter, Bobbie Fox of Buena Park, Calif.; her brothers, JohnWhite of Forest and Baxter White of Columbia; her sisters, AnnieMoran of Columbia, Faye Dunaway of Memphis, Frances Turnage ofMcComb, Bobbie Jean Cole of Atlanta, and Shelby Burge of Summit;and seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and threegreat-great-grandchildren.
