MONTICELLO – The Lawrence County Lady Cougars handed the NorthPike Lady Jaguars a 10-3 whipping Tuesday.

Leading North Pike (0-2) with two singles apiece were BrittanyAlexander and Melissa McKenzie. Amy Dickerson, Erin Boyd, DanielleRawls and Kayla Price singled. Price absorbed the loss.

North Pike visits Enterprise Thursday, August 17, for two games.The junior varsity game begins at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity at6.

In the junior varsity game, Lawrence County smashedNorth Pike 9-2. Morgan Speights was the winning pitcher. CaseyDickerson was the loser.

For 0-2 North Pike, Dickerson, Catherine West, LeonnaBallard, Jessica Brister and Dixon singled.
